Management
Kala Will - Owner
Kala is a chemical engineer at Marathon Petroleum, but she has a deep passion for children. She wants to be able to provide more opportunities for young children in the community to grow and learn. She also owns Tumblebees which provides tumbling and dance classes to many children in our area. By opening Busy Bees, Kala hopes to bring more opportunities for children in our community with a safe space along with an educational focus to those wanting to join the hive!
Devinne Tewell - Director
Devinne has a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. She has been working in childcare for 17 years, starting as a nanny through her most recent job teaching Kindergarten. Devinne has a vision to make Busy Bees a positive place for children to learn and grow and to create positive experiences for families as a whole. She is excited to see each child develop through their time with us and watch them grow!
Nicole Wilson - Manager
Nicole is a strong and determined leader that helped make the vision for Busy Bees Child Care Center a reality. She is extremely dedicated to ensuring our facility is a safe and nurturing environment so that children can learn and play. Nicole has been the manager of Tumblebees as well for the past 6 years, and she has worked hard to grow our hive!
Lead teachers
Lead Teacher - Miss Sabrina
Miss Sabrina has a degree in Early Childhood Education. She has 3 children and 4 grandchildren. She has lived in Robinson for 5 years now but is originally from Mt. Carmel. She loves working with children and looks forward to the opportunity of working at Busy Bees.
Lead Teacher - Mr. Taylor
Mr. Taylor & his fiancé have 4 dogs. In his free time, Mr. Taylor enjoys hiking, road trips, and baseball. He has an associate's degree in education with a wide range of experience in classroom environments.
Lead Teacher - Miss Layni
Miss Layni has a passion for working with children and has worked in childcare for the past 7 years. She is passionate about creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment. She is so excited for this journey! Miss Layni enjoys spending her free time by playing pickleball, shopping, and cooking.
Lead Teacher - Miss Paige
Miss Paige has lived in Robinson, IL for her whole life. She is married and has a four-year-old son. She has an associate's degree from Lincoln Trail College. Miss Paige has worked in childcare for many years.
Lead Teacher - Miss Jordan
Miss Jordan has been married for 7 years. She has 2 fur babies. She loves working with children and has worked in childcare for many years. She looks forward to seeing all of the children at Busy Bees learn and grow!
Lead Teacher - Miss Karla
Miss Karla has dreamed of working in childcare since she was 12 years old. She has been married to her husband, Duaine for 20 years and they have 1 son & 1 bonus daughter. She looks forward to seeing all our children learn and grow!
Lead Teacher - Miss Kelsey
Miss Kelsey is a 2022 graduate of Newton Community High School. She attends the University of Kentucky for Social Work and will graduate in May of 2025. She has a passion for education and helping others, specifically children. She looks forward to making connections and getting to know everyone.
Teacher's aides
Teacher's Aide - Miss Josi
Miss Josi is from a small town in Indiana called Dugger. She has been working with children since she graduated from high school. She loves working with all children, but preschool is her favorite place to be. Miss Josi loves playing the piano & singing!
Teacher's Aide - Miss Alysen
Miss Alysen has always enjoyed working with children and helping them learn new things. She is the oldest of 5 siblings and has one very precious nephew! She loves spending her free time with family and enjoying the outdoors.
Teacher's Aide - Miss Kyra
Miss Kyra is originally from Robinson, IL. She enjoys working with children and has worked in childcare for the past 3-4 years. She looks forward to watching all of the children at Busy Bees learn and grow!
Teacher's Aide - Miss Ashlie
Miss Ashlie is originally from California and currently lives here in Robinson, IL. She is married with 6 children. She enjoys fishing and spending time with her family. In her free time, you can find her working on crafts with her Cricut & doing resin crafts.
Teacher's Aide - Miss Wendy
Miss Wendy has been married for 28 years and has two children. She enjoys sewing and crocheting in her spare time. Her favorite color is purple. Miss Wendy has a dog name Max.
